§ 22 §4244 — Appropriate authority in the receiving state
Maine·Title 22 HEALTH AND WELFARE·Part 4 INTERSTATE COMPACTS·Ch. 1153 INTERSTATE COMPACT ON PLACEMENT OF CHILDREN
As used in the first paragraph of Article V of the Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children, the phrase "appropriate authority in the receiving state" with reference to this State shall mean the Department of Health and Human Services.
