§ 22 §2842-A — Identification of dead human bodies with communicable diseases

Maine·Title 22 HEALTH AND WELFARE·Part 6 BIRTHS, MARRIAGES AND DEATHS·Ch. 707 DEATHS AND BURIALS
The department shall promulgate rules providing for notification to funeral directors or other authorized agents in charge of the disposition of dead human bodies in cases when the body has been diagnosed as having a communicable disease. Notification pursuant to this section is not a violation of this Title or Title 5, chapter 501.
