Text

The department, through its Bureau of Health, is authorized to administer a program of services for children who are disabled or who are suffering from conditions that lead to a disability, and to supervise the administration of those services included in the program that are not administered directly by it. The purpose of the program is to develop, extend and improve services for locating such children and for providing for medical, surgical, corrective and other services of care, and for facilities for diagnosis, hospitalization and aftercare.
