For purposes of this section, "critical access hospital" has the same meaning as in section 7932, subsection 10.
1.Application for conversion to critical access hospital.
In addition to the criteria provided in section 7932, subsection 10, in order to qualify as a critical access hospital, an applicant seeking approval for conversion to a critical access hospital must provide to the department a plan for review that includes the following:
2.Annual report by approved critical access hospitals.
A critical access hospital approved under this section shall provide an annual report to the department for a period of 5 years demonstrating its use of revenues to support the health care needs of the community.
