Text

The director may go on any land for the purpose of surveying, inspecting or detecting the presence of a forest insect or disease which may, in the judgment of the director, pose a danger or public nuisance to the shade, ornamental and forest trees of the State. The director may do any work involved in ascertaining the presence of these organisms. If survey work involves the use of so-called "trap" material on developed lands, the landowner shall be notified of the intent to go on the land.
