1.Surcharge fees to be paid into fund.
In addition to the applicable license fees for marine worm digger’s licenses, marine worm dealer’s licenses and supplemental marine worm dealer’s licenses, the commissioner shall assess the following surcharge fees, which must be deposited into the Marine Worm Fund:
2.Purposes of fund.
The commissioner may expend the money in the fund for research related to marine worms or the marine worm industry or for the restoration, development and conservation of the marine worm industry, including the development and maintenance of permanent or temporary facilities for those purposes.
3.Nonlapsing.
The Marine Worm Fund shall not lapse.
