§ 12 §13061 — Permit to hold regatta, race, boat exhibition or water-ski exhibition
1.Permit required.
A person may not hold a regatta, race, boat exhibition or water-ski exhibition without a permit from the commissioner issued under subsection 2.
2.Issuance.
The commissioner may issue a permit to a person permitting the person to hold a regatta, race, boat exhibition or water-ski exhibition on any of the internal waters of this State.
3.Application.
The person in charge of a regatta, race, boat exhibition or water-ski exhibition shall request the permit required under subsection 1 from the commissioner at least 15 days prior to the event. The request must be in writing and must set forth the date, time and location of the event.
