§ 12 §12909 — Whitewater guide license
1.Eligibility.
A person may not act as a whitewater guide unless that person is 18 years of age or older and has procured a license from the commissioner pursuant to this section.
2.Rules.
The commissioner shall by rule establish the requirements for a whitewater guide's license.
3.Examination.
All initial applicants for a whitewater guide's license are required to pass an examination developed and administered by the commissioner.
4.Fee.
The fee for an examination is $100 and is not refundable. An applicant may retake the examination once without paying an additional examination fee. A whitewater guide's license is a 3-year license. The fee for a whitewater guide's license is $89.
5.Renewal.
A whitewater guide whose license is not suspended or revoked may renew that license upon the
