§ 12 §11305 — Unlawful firearms for hunting bear
Maine·Title 12 CONSERVATION·Part 13 INLAND FISHERIES AND WILDLIFE·Ch. 915 HUNTING: SEASONS, REQUIREMENTS AND RESTRICTIONS
1.Prohibition.
A person may not use a .17 or .22 caliber rimfire firearm or a shotgun using shot loads to hunt bear.
2.Penalty.
A person who violates subsection 1 commits a Class E crime.
