The Advisory Board for the Licensing of Taxidermists is established by Title 5, section 12004‑I, subsection 23‑A and referred to in this section as "the board."

1.Membership. Members of the board must be residents of the State. The board consists of the following 4 members:
2.Term. The term of office for members of the board is 3 years, except that the terms must be staggered to the extent possible. Appointments for terms of less than 3 years may be made in order to stagger the terms. Upon expiration of a member's term, that member shall serve until a qualified successor is appointed. The successor's term is 3 years from the date of the expiration, regardless of the date of appointment.
