Text
As used in this chapter, unless the context otherwise indicates, the following terms have the following meanings.
1.Declared state disaster or emergency.
"Declared state disaster or emergency" means a disaster or emergency event for which a Governor's state of emergency proclamation has been issued pursuant to Title 37-B, section 742 or that the President of the United States has declared to be a major disaster or emergency.
2.Disaster period.
"Disaster period" means the period of time that begins no later than 10 days following the Governor's proclamation of a state of emergency or the declaration by the President of the United States of a major disaster or emergency, whichever occurs first, and that extends for a period of 60 calendar days following the end of the declared disaster or
