§ 10 §9902 — Definitions

As used in this chapter, unless the context otherwise indicates, the following terms have the following meanings.

1.Declared state disaster or emergency. "Declared state disaster or emergency" means a disaster or emergency event for which a Governor's state of emergency proclamation has been issued pursuant to Title 37-B, section 742 or that the President of the United States has declared to be a major disaster or emergency.

2.Disaster period. "Disaster period" means the period of time that begins no later than 10 days following the Governor's proclamation of a state of emergency or the declaration by the President of the United States of a major disaster or emergency, whichever occurs first, and that extends for a period of 60 calendar days following the end of the declared disaster or

As used in this chapter, unless the context otherwise indicates, the following terms have the following meanings.

"Declared state disaster or emergency" means a disaster or emergency event for which a Governor's state of emergency proclamation has been issued pursuant to Title 37-B, section 742 or that the President of the United States has declared to be a major disaster or emergency.

Disaster period.
"Disaster period" means the period of time that begins no later than 10 days following the Governor's proclamation of a state of emergency or the declaration by the President of the United States of a major disaster or emergency, whichever occurs first, and that extends for a period of 60 calendar days following the end of the declared disaster or emergency as proclaimed by the Governor pursuant to Title 37-B, section 743 or the President of the United States or pursuant to law, whichever occurs first.

"Out-of-state business" means a business entity:

"Out-of-state employee" means an individual who performs services for an out-of-state business in return for compensation and who, prior to the declared state disaster or emergency, was not a resident of this State.

"Registered business" means a business entity that is registered or licensed to do business in the State prior to the declared state disaster or emergency.
