(a)(1) In this section the following words have the meanings indicated.
(2)(i) “Hospitality and tourism management degree program” means a degree program at an institution of higher education that offers classes that provide a comprehensive study of alcoholic beverages with an emphasis on the origin, production, classification, and service of beer, wine, and liquor.
(ii)“Hospitality and tourism management degree program” includes classes that study bartending, alcohol awareness, liability, and the responsible serving of alcoholic beverages.
(3)“Institution of higher education” has the meaning stated in § 10–101 of the Education Article.
(b)There is a university and college hospitality beer, wine, and liquor license.
