§ 19C — High opiate overdose area pharmacies required to maintain continuous supply of naloxone rescue kits or opioid antagonist medications

The board of registration in pharmacy shall promulgate regulations requiring pharmacies located in areas with high incidents of opiate overdose, as determined by the board in consultation with the department of public health, to maintain a continuous supply of naloxone rescue kits or opioid antagonist medications, as defined in section 19B. Pharmacists employed in locations covered by the regulations shall be subject to the requirements of section 19B.Chapter 94C: Section 19C.
