Section 34. The trustees shall maintain a medical school to be known as the University of Massachusetts medical school. Said school shall be so maintained and operated as to comply with the standards approved by nationally recognized medical associations for accredited schools of medicine.The trustees are authorized and directed to make plans and to work with all state and federal agencies and to accept grants or matching funds that are available or may become available from the federal government or any other source, public or private, for constructing, financing, equipping, improving or expanding said medical school.
