Section 20.

(1)State Employees' Retirement System.—
(a)The contributory retirement system for state employees shall be known as the ''state employees' retirement system'' and all of its business shall be transacted under such name.
(b)The state employees' retirement system shall be managed by the state board of retirement provided for in section eighteen of chapter ten. Said board shall have the general powers and duties set forth in subdivision (5) of this section.
(2)Teachers' Retirement System.—
(a)The contributory retirement system for teachers shall be known as the ''teachers' retirement system'' and all of its business shall be transacted under such name.
