148.See 2024, 238, Sec. 327.]Section 59D. The percentage of candidates appointed to a permanent position from a local public safety service register or a cadet program, pursuant to sections 59A to 59C, inclusive, shall not exceed, in the aggregate, more than 50 per cent of the appointing authority's overall appointments to the entry-level police and firefighter ranks during the time period established by the written agreement between the administrator and the appointing authority that authorizes the alternative appointment methodologies permitted by this chapter.
