Text
Section 44. No officer or employee of the commonwealth shall act as agent or attorney of any person in a sale or conveyance of land to the commonwealth. Whoever violates any provision of this section shall be punished by a fine of not more than one thousand dollars and shall be disqualified for employment in any state department.
