Text

Section 12. The clerk of the senate and the clerk of the house of representatives shall each receive such salary as may be established by the committee on rules of the senate or the committee on rules of the house of representatives, as the case may be, and each shall hold office until his successor is qualified. Salaries established under this section shall be for the period of two years commencing January first of the year in which established.
