Section 140. Whoever sells or offers to sell or solicits offers to purchase a master key designed to fit more than one motor vehicle knowing, or having reasonable cause to believe, that said key will be used for an illegal purpose shall be punished by a fine of not more than five hundred dollars or by imprisonment for not more than one year, or both.
