Section 1. The fees of justices of the peace shall be as follows:For a subpoena for one or more witnesses, ten cents.For taking a deposition, fifty cents; for writing the deposition and caption, at the rate of twelve cents a page; for notice to the adverse party, twenty cents. The justice shall certify his fees and the deponent's fees on the deposition.For administering an oath required by law, except on a trial or examination before him, to one or more persons at one time, twenty-five cents.For the acknowledgment of a deed by one or more grantors, if taken at one time, twenty-five cents.For taking a deposition to perpetuate testimony, each justice shall be entitled to the fees prescribed for all services which are personally rendered by him.
