[ Text of section added by 2024, 285, Sec. 21 effective March 23, 2025 applicable to all contracts entered into, renewed or amended on or after January 1, 2026. See 2024, 285, Sec. 46.]Section 47BBB. A policy, contract, agreement, plan or certificate of insurance issued, delivered or renewed within the commonwealth, which is considered creditable coverage under section 1 of chapter 111M, shall provide coverage for the provision of services by a recovery coach licensed or otherwise authorized to practice under chapter 111J, regardless of the setting in which these services are provided; provided, however, that such services shall be within the lawful scope of practice of a recovery coach.
