Section 112. Every gas company with a capital paid in of one hundred thousand dollars or more, and every other gas company, if required by the department, and all makers and vendors of meters shall set up at some convenient place upon their premises one or more meter provers of a size and type approved, tested and calibrated by the department, by means of which meters may be tested.
