Section 83A. Any 1 or more corporations may consolidate or merge with or into 1 or more domestic limited liability companies or 1 or more foreign limited liability companies as defined in section 2 of chapter 156C or may consolidate or merge with or into 1 or more limited liability partnerships or foreign limited liability partnerships as defined in section 2 of chapter 108A. The agreement of consolidation or merger shall be adopted by each constituent in accordance with the laws under which it is organized and, in the case of a Massachusetts corporation, in the manner provided in section 78.
