Section 71F.

(a)An employee shall be eligible to receive reemployment assistance benefits with respect to any week of unemployment in his or her eligibility period, as defined in section seventy-one A, only if the commissioner finds that with respect to such week (1) the employee has been terminated from their employment as a result of a plant closing or covered partial closing, (2) the employee is otherwise eligible for regular benefits under this chapter, and (3) the employee is participating in the reemployment assistance program, when such program is available, in accordance with the provisions of section seventy-one D; provided that, no reemployment assistance benefits shall be paid for any week commencing prior to the date of notification as determined by the commissioner.No person
