Section 95A. A school committee of any city, town or regional school district which accepts the provisions of this section may permit a minor over sixteen and under eighteen who is attending school to be employed in industry without the permit for employment required by section 86; provided, however, that such minor is part of a co-operative work-study program operated by said school committee and approved by the department of education. Said minor, while so employed, shall be subject to the provisions of chapter one hundred and fifty-two.
