Section 52. Every employer subject to sections forty-seven and forty-eight shall keep a time book, open to inspection by the department, showing the names and addresses of all employees and the hours worked by each of them in each day. Whoever violates this section or section fifty-one shall be punished by a fine of three hundred dollars.
