§ 16 — Sale proceeds; payment to owner by state treasurer

Section 16. If, within three years after such sale, the owner of any such property claims it and proves his ownership thereof, the said proceeds, after deducting all reasonable charges and expenses, shall be paid over to him by the state treasurer.
