Section 74C. The governor shall appoint an advisory council on continuing education, consisting of seventeen members, three representatives of the public, five licensed practical nurses, three registered nurses with a baccalaureate degree or higher, three registered nurses with an associate degree, and three registered nurses with a diploma in nursing. Of the original appointments to the council, six members shall be appointed for a term of one year, six members shall be appointed for a term of two years, and five members shall be appointed for a term of three years. As the term of office of a member expires, his successor shall be appointed for a term of two years.
