Section 30. Whoever, with intent to defraud, falsely makes, alters, forges, utters, passes or counterfeits a state lottery ticket or share shall be punished by imprisonment in the state prison for not more than three years or in a jail for not more than two years, or by a fine of not less than one hundred nor more than five hundred dollars.
