§3258. Lessor's right to own, control, use, enjoy, protect and dispose of property and things Every lessor, in accordance with the provisions of Article I, Section 4 of the Louisiana Constitution of 1974, shall have the right to the ownership, control, use, enjoyment, protection and right to dispose of private property including any alienation thereof by lease or otherwise, where a person by law or contract has a legal right to give to another the enjoyment of a thing or property for a valid consideration; which said rights shall include all rights granted to lessors by Title IX of the Louisiana Civil Code dealing with lease, and which said rights shall not be altered, abridged or diminished except by state law, and which said rights are subject to the reasonable exercise of the police pow
