Text
§2171. Individual and corporate trustees
An individual trustee shall furnish security for the faithful performance of his duties,
unless the trust instrument dispenses with security. A corporate trustee need not furnish
security unless security is required by the trust instrument.
The amount and type of security shall be approved by the proper court if not provided
for in the trust instrument.
