When a safety deposit box is leased from any bank by a trust estate, whether in the name of the trust estate or the trustee or trustees thereof, with the right of access being given to the trustee or trustees designated in the instrument creating the trust estate or appointed in accordance with the provisions of R.S. 9:1721 et seq., notwithstanding the death of any such trustee or trustees and notwithstanding the termination of the trust, the bank may permit the trustee or trustees so designated or appointed to have free access to the safety deposit box, including the right to remove the contents thereof. In such case, the entry of the trustee or trustees into the safety deposit box shall constitute a full release and discharge of the bank permitting such entry as to anyone, including any
