Text

The board may make application to the Secretary of Commerce of the United States for the purpose of establishing, operating, and maintaining foreign-trade zones under 48 Stat. 998 (1934), 1 providing for the establishment, operation and maintenance of foreign-trade zones in ports of entry of the United States, to expedite and encourage foreign commerce, and for other purposes. 1 19 U.S.C.A. §81a et seq.
