§1010. Members from Louisiana The governor, the president of the Senate, and the speaker of the House of Representatives each shall appoint one member, who shall serve at the pleasure of the appointing officer for a four year term and who may be reappointed. If any of said members of the board shall be the head of a regularly constituted department or agency of this state, he may designate a subordinate officer or employee of his department or agency to serve in his stead as permitted by the applicable provisions of the compact and the bylaws of the board.
