§3181. Short title; purpose; legislative intent A. This Chapter may be cited as the "Louisiana Human Genomic Security Act of 2025". B.

(1)The purpose of this Chapter is to ensure that blacklisted adversary military companies do not gain access to American human genetic information.
(2)It is declared the policy of this state to oppose the collection and analysis of human genetic information for use by the military and surveillance state of the People's Republic of China and other foreign adversaries. It is furthermore declared the policy of this state to support sanctions imposed by the United States Department of Commerce and the United States Department of Defense upon companies engaged in the collection and analysis of human genetic information for use by the military and surveillance s
