§671. Purpose It is the purpose of this Chapter to prohibit discrimination on the basis of race, sex, religion, and age in the delivery of services financed with federal funds available to the state in the form of block grants wherein the federal government gives the state wide discretion regarding the purpose for which and manner of expenditure of the funds. It is also the purpose of this Chapter to ensure respect for the civil rights of beneficiaries and recipients of said block grant funds. Added by Acts 1982, No. 386, §1.
