Text
The legislature, at its last regular session preceding the inauguration of the governor, shall appropriate the sum of sixty-five thousand dollars for the use of the governor-elect, to be available on his warrant, to cover necessary office expenses, including the rental of office space, the employment of clerical and other assistance, and the payment of stationery, postage, telephone service, and other similar charges. The funds so appropriated shall be available for the use of the governor-elect at any time following the promulgation of the returns of the general election declaring him to be the governor-elect.
