A.The department of highways may, in connection with the erection of any bridge, construct a combination railroad, or street railway and vehicle traffic bridge.
B.The highway department may lease to any person who applies the right or privilege to use the bridge for railroad and for street railway purposes and for the placing and maintaining thereon of transmission cables and wires for telephone, telegraph, and electric power; pipe lines for the transportation of artificial or natural gas or oil; tracks, wires and other equipment for the operation of steam or electric railways; and appliances or equipment for any other purposes.
