§971. Administration of maternal and child health services
In order to extend and improve services for promoting the health of mothers and
children in this state, the Louisiana Department of Health shall be the agency of the state of
Louisiana to administer those parts of the federal Social Security Act or any amendments
thereto, relating to maternal and child health services, and to receive and expend federal
moneys for those services.
