NOTE: §931 eff. until one or more of the 20 depts. of the executive branch is abolished or a const. amend. authorizing the creation of an additional dept. becomes effective, whichever is earlier. See Acts 2013, No. 384, §§5 and 9. §931. Creation; personnel An agency of the state to be known as the office of elderly affairs is hereby created and established in the office of the governor. Said office shall exercise the powers and duties hereinafter set forth or otherwise provided by law. The office shall be administered by an executive director, who shall be recommended for appointment by the Louisiana Executive Board on Aging to the governor to serve at his pleasure, subject to confirmation by the Senate.
