§2722. Intergovernmental transfer program

A.The Louisiana Department of Health shall, as soon as practicable, have prepared for submission an application to the United States Department of Health and Human Services for the implementation of an intergovernmental transfer program. The application shall be submitted to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, United States Department of Health and Human Services by the department on a date to be determined by the Joint Legislative Committee on the Budget based on the recommendations of the Intergovernmental Transfer Subcommittee established pursuant to R.S. 46:2692(A)(2). The application shall facilitate a single provider organization as may be requested by the local school boards only if such facilitation is allowed by the Centers fo
