§ 46:1952 — Definitions

§1952. Definitions As used in this Chapter:
(1)"Housing accommodations" means any immovable property, or portion thereof,
which is used or occupied or is intended, arranged, or designed to be used or occupied as the
home, residence, or sleeping place of one or more human beings, but shall not include any
single family residence the occupants of which rent, lease, or furnish for compensation not
more than one room therein.
(2)"Person with a disability" means a person who has a physical or mental
impairment that substantially limits one or more of such person's major life activities and
who has a record of such impairment or who is regarded as having such an impairment,
including military veterans with traumatic brain injury or post traumatic stress disorder.
(3)"Service dog" means a dog
