Text
A.
(1)The Department of Public Safety and Corrections shall serve as agent of the state in entering into agreements with the appropriate agency of the federal government to provide care and treatment for a child found by a federal court to be delinquent and committed to the custody of the attorney general of the United States pursuant to the provisions of 18 U.S.C. 5031 through 18 U.S.C. 5037.
(2)Any such agreement shall be upon such terms and conditions and shall provide for such compensation as may be mutually agreed upon between the department and the appropriate agency of the federal government.
