§1098.2. Domicile and membership of the board of commissioners A. The domicile of the board shall be the Slidell Memorial Hospital in Slidell, Louisiana. B. In order to provide for effectuation of the purposes of the district, the district shall be administered and governed by a board of commissioners, referred to in this Part as the "board", comprised of nine commissioners as follows:

(1)Seven members, appointed pursuant to R.S. 46:1098.5, all of whom shall be registered to vote in and shall be residents and domiciliaries of Wards 6, 7, 8, or 9 of St. Tammany Parish for not less than two years prior to appointment.
(2)Two members shall be appointed by Slidell Memorial Hospital pursuant to R.S. 46:1098.4.
