§1003. Advertisement
The register of the state land office shall cause to be published an advertisement in
the official journal of the parish where the land is located setting forth the description of the
land on which the timber to be sold is located, the type and quantity of timber, and the time,
place, and terms of the sale. The advertisement shall be published for a period of not less
than fifteen days and at least once a week during three consecutive weeks.
