§2017.3. Regulations fixing minimum standards The Louisiana Department of Health shall by regulations prescribe minimum standards of maintenance and operation of hospitals which have received or may receive federal aid for construction under the federal act and the state plan in effect and any such hospital is required to comply with the regulations; provided that before adopting any such regulations, the board shall hold a public hearing thereon after first giving reasonable notice to the public of its intention to hold such public hearing and affording all interested parties a reasonable opportunity to appear at such hearing and offer objections to any proposed regulation. Regulations fixing minimum standards adopted under this Chapter shall have the force and effect of law.
