§ 40:1426 — Reward fund

§1426. Reward fund The Department of Public Safety and Corrections, office of state police, in cooperation with and with voluntarily funding by authorized insurers and insurance professionals, may establish and operate a fund to offer monetary rewards for information sufficient to procure conviction in a court of appropriate jurisdiction of a person or persons responsible for insurance fraud. No law enforcement officer, employee of the office of commissioner of insurance, employee of an insurance company, or any insurance professional shall be eligible to receive such reward.
