§1321.2. Office of Motor Vehicles Special Identification Card Dedicated Fund Account

A.There is hereby created, as a special statutorily dedicated fund account in the state treasury, the Office of Motor Vehicles Special Identification Card Dedicated Fund Account, hereafter referred to as the "Identification Card Account".
B.After compliance with the requirements of Article VII, Section 9(B) of the Constitution of Louisiana relative to the Bond Security and Redemption Fund, the treasurer shall pay an amount equal to one-third of the monies received by the state treasury pursuant to the provisions of R.S. 40:1321(C) into the Identification Card Account. Monies in the account shall be used for operational expenses of the Department of Public Safety and Corrections, public safety services. A
