§1211.2. Notification of results

A.Each patient shall be given the opportunity to name a physician to receive the results of any screening mammogram performed without the direction by prescription of a licensed practitioner.
B.The report of results mailed to the patient and to any physician named pursuant to Subsection A of this Section shall clearly state whether the need for any follow-up care is indicated by the mammogram. NOTE: See Acts 2015, No. 378, §2(B), which provides that the Act shall be known as the "Monica Landry Helo Early Detection Act".
