Text

A. The DeSoto Parish Industrial District is hereby created as a political subdivision of the state. The territorial limits and jurisdiction of the district shall extend throughout the entire parish of DeSoto. B.

(1)The governing authority of the district shall be a board of commissioners consisting of twelve members: four members to be appointed by the governing authority of DeSoto Parish, including one from the parish at large and one resident from each of the following communities: Frierson, Gloster, and Pelican, and eight members, one to be appointed by the governing authority of each of the following municipalities: Mansfield, South Mansfield, Stanley, Logansport, Longstreet, Keatchie, Stonewall, and Grand Cane.
